In addition to the Love is in the Air items that have been released in the store in FarmVille 2, productive farmers can also use some of these new Valentine's Day items to earn coins via the game's Crafting Kitchen.
There are three new recipes available to craft in the Valentine's Day theme, but as you might expect, they'll only be available for a limited time. We're here with a guide on cooking these three recipes, including their payouts and XP rewards.
The first recipe is the Rose Cupcake, and a single Cupcake takes 12 Red Roses and two Batter to prepare. While you can create the Batter yourself using Flour (wheat) and Eggs, the Red Roses are grown outright on your farm. This Red Rose crop will only be available for planting for 22 days, but since it takes just four hours to grow, you can grow a ton of them within that time period.
A single Rose Cupcake sells for 2,040 coins, which is a pretty great payout for a "free" recipe. You'll also receive 16 XP for each one you craft. The second dish in this theme is Almond Candy, which is created using five Sugar and eight Almonds. As you might have guessed, the Almonds are earned from the Almond Tree, which is available in the store for 12 Farm Bucks. If you're not interested in spending the Farm Bucks on your own tree, you can also visit your friends' farms to tend their Almond Trees (if they have them) for a chance at free Almonds. Meanwhile, the Sugar is earned by simply asking your friends to send you some. You'll earn 2,500 coins for each Almond Candy you sell, along with 14 XP for each candy that you create. The final recipe is the Almond Cake, which also requires the Almond Tree. This recipe is prepared using two Flour and 14 Almonds. The Flour is created by using Wheat in bulk, so if you need extra Wheat, you can find it in the store for 10 coins per square. It takes four hours to grow, so make sure you come back quick enough to harvest the crop before it withers. A single Almond Cake will sell for 3,100 coins, and you'll receive 19 XP for each cake you create. These dishes will only be available for 29 days, and while that gives you plenty of time to stock up on free Red Roses, if you're just trying to earn Almonds by tending your friends' farms, you may never earn enough to actually craft either of these two premium recipes. If that's the route you're taking, we wish you the best of luck.
