FarmVille 2 Sheep Shack: Everything you need to know

After the release of the Chicken Coop and Goat Shelter in FarmVille 2, it was only a matter of time before more animal storage buildings were released on our farms. The newest building is the Sheep Shack, which, as you can probably guess, is used to store Prized Sheep that you've raised on your farm.

Before you can use the Sheep Shack, you'll of course need to build it on your farm. It requires 10 Sheep Railings, 10 Crooks, and 10 Sod to construct. These items are earned via a combination of general news posts and individual friend requests sent to your neighbors. After you've collected these items, you'll need to ask four friends for help in staffing the building to actually finish it off.

After you've completed the Sheep Shack, it can obviously be used to store a limited number of Prized Sheep. Remember, these Prized Sheep are different than Adult Sheep, so all of your current Sheep may not be eligible for storage. Any Sheep that are stored inside the Sheep Shack can be fed for half the Animal Feed that they would normally require, and on top of this, completing the Sheep Shack will also increase your Animal Feed maximum capacity by 25 points!

As one final note, harvesting the Sheep Shack gives you a chance to find Golden Fleece, which can be used in new crafting recipes. The more Sheep you have in your Sheep Shack, the higher the chance you'll receive Golden Fleece for your farm.

FarmVille 2 Vanilla Heirloom Recipes: Everything you need to know

While you might already be satisfied with the amount of crafting recipes available in FarmVille 2's Crafting Kitchen, Zynga is always releasing more. In fact, the company has released a brand new "Heirloom Recipe" feature to the Crafting Kitchen that will see new recipes being released for a very limited time to encourage you to keep coming back more often.

The first set of Heirloom Recipes revolves around the Vanilla plant, which has been re-released in their honor. The Vanilla can be planted for 80 coins per square and harvested after four hours. If you never reached the Blue Ribbon level of mastery for this plant, you've got two days to do so, as your progress from before is still intact here, letting you pick up right where you left off. As for the three recipes, you can now use that Vanilla to eventually craft Vanilla Butterscotch Bundt cakes, and we're here with a guide on how to do just that.

The first recipe in this trio is Vanilla Cream, which is prepared using five Vanilla and four Milk. You'll receive eight XP each time you create a batch of Vanilla Cream, and a single batch can be sold for 1,230 coins
.
The second recipe is Vanilla Butterscotch Filling, which can be created with one Vanilla Cream and three Butterscotch candies. The Butterscotch is earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbors. Once you've collected enough to make Vanilla Butterscotch Filling, you'll receive 12 XP for each one you create, and can sell it for 2,050 coins each.
Finally, The Vanilla Butterscotch Bundt recipe is created using one Vanilla Butterscotch Filling and one Batter. The Batter itself is created using Wheat, Flour, and Eggs. Crafting a Vanilla Butterscotch Bundt gives you 25 XP, and you can sell each one for 4,260 coins. Remember though, these recipes will only be available for two more days, so make sure to craft as many of these bundt cakes as you can to make the most coins possible within that time frame.

FarmVille 2 Fertilizer Bin: Everything you need to know

If you're someone that likes to grow Prized Crops in FarmVille 2, you've come to understand how valuable Fertilizer is. On the other hand, if you never use Fertilizer because you can never seem to keep any in your inventory, the game's newest update will also help. The brand new Fertilizer Bin building project will see you build a Fertilizer dispenser that can be filled by simply tending your animals around the farm.

The Fertilizer Bin can be placed for free when you log into your farm, and from there, you'll need to collect building materials to finish it off. You'll need 10 Green Paint, 10 Grass Clippings, and 10 Wood Planks. These items can be earned via a combination of general news posts on your wall and individual requests sent directly to your neighbors. After you've collected these items, you can finish the Fertilizer Bin by asking four of your friends to help you out as staff.

After you've completed the Fertilizer Bin, you'll be able to collect "Compost," a material that fills the Bin's meter and is collected by tending Adult Animals. You'll need at least one Adult Animal of any kind on your farm in order to keep the Bin operational, and once the meter is full, you can harvest the Bin to earn extra Fertilizer.

This is a bit more complicated than that though, as you'll need to use "Fertilizer Rakes" to actually gather up any Fertilizer and put it into bags. These Rakes are crafted using six Pieces of Wood, and you can stock up on these Rakes for the future so that you don't have to craft them every single day.

Of course, the more Fertilizer you use, the faster you'll master crops, so make sure to build your Fertilizer Bin and start putting it to good use as fast as you can.

FarmVille 2 More Turkish Delights Kitchen Recipes: Everything you need to know

As with almost every theme in FarmVille 2, the second set of Turkish Delights items is here alongside a series of new Crafting Kitchen recipes. Of course, only one of the recipes is technically "free" to create, as the other two require ingredients earned via premium trees. Still, there's quite a bit of coins to be earned here, if you're willing to make the investment.

The first recipe is the Fava Bean Dip, which is created using seven Fava Beans and five Paprika per batch. The Paprika is earned by sending out requests to your friends, while the Fava Beans are grown on your farm. They cost 50 coins per square to plant, and are ready to harvest after six hours. This recipe will give you 13 XP each time it's created, and a single batch goes for 2,222 coins.
The second recipe is the Kurabiye Cookie, which is created using two Batter and six Carob Pods each. The Batter is another crafting recipe that's created using Wheat, Flour and Eggs, while the Carob Pods are earned from the appropriately named Carob Tree. This premium tree is available to purchase for 12 Farm Bucks, but if you aren't willing to make the investment yourself, you can hope that your neighbors purchase the tree themselves. You have a chance of earning these Carob Pods by tending their trees when you visit. You'll earn 21 XP for each Cookie that you create, and can sell each cookie for 3,080 coins.
The final recipe is the Jujube Jam, which is created using two Lemon Water and 14 Jujube Fruits. The Lemon Waters are created using Water and Lemons, making that a particularly valuable ingredient. The Jujube Fruits, meanwhile, are earned from another premium tree, the Jujube Tree. This tree also costs 12 Farm Bucks to purchase. Creating a single batch of Jujube Jam will give you 21 XP, and it is sold for 3,520 coins.

These recipes will be available for 27 days, but the themed ingredients themselves will only be available to purchase in the store for 20 days. If you look forward to creating these recipes, make sure to purchase and grow their ingredients as quickly as possible, before they expire.

FarmVille 2 Spinning Wheel: Everything you need to know

Once you've reached at least Level 8 in FarmVille 2, you'll gain access to a new building project: the Spinning Wheel. This Spinning Wheel encourages you to tend your Sheep and Rabbits in order to earn Spinning Wool, which can then be turned into Spun Yarn. This feature might sound a bit complicated at first, but it's really quite simple.

First things first, you'll need to build the Spinning Wheel on your farm. You'll need to collect 11 Empty Spindles, 11 Baskets, and 11 Wood Planks in order to complete the Spinning Wheel. These items are earned through a combination of general news posts on your wall and individual requests sent to your neighbors. When that's done, you'll need to ask four of your friends to come work as staff within the Spinning Wheel to completely finish it off.

The Spinning Wheel is similar to the Hen House or Yogurt Creamery, in that you must have at least four Adult Sheep and/or Rabbits on your farm for it to function. Remember, Adult animals are different than Prized animals, and Prized animals don't count here. They need to just be Adults. When you feed your Adult Sheep or Rabbits, they'll now drop Spinning Wool. This Spinning Wool is specific to the Spinning Wheel, and it will automatically be added to your in-game collection. When the collection is full, you can collect from the Spinning Wheel to earn Spun Yarn.

There are 12 types of special, or Fine Yarns, that are also available to earn through this event, with these 12 items coming in three different rarity categories. If you can collect all 12 of the Fine Yarns in the game, you'll earn a Manx Loaghtan Sheep for free. There's no time limit on earning him, so you don't need to worry about rushing to collect the 12 Fine Yarns. Just keep playing the game and tending your Sheep and Rabbits, and you'll (hopefully) eventually earn this little fella for your farm. Good luck!

FarmVille 2 Turkish Delights Kitchen Recipes: Everything you need to know

Now that you've had a complete look at the Turkish Delights theme in FarmVille 2, it's time to dive deeper with a look at the three themed recipes that are available to cook in the game's Crafting Kitchens. We're here with a complete guide to these dishes, their ingredients, and their rewards.

The first dish is the Kunefe, which is prepared using two Batter and 14 Pistachios. The Batter is crafted using Wheat and Flour, while the Pistachios are earned from the Pistachio Tree. This premium tree is available for 12 Farm Bucks in the store, and it's available to harvest every 12 hours. If you don't want to spend the Farm Bucks on the tree yourself, you can look for these trees on your friends' farms and hope to receive Pistachios by tending them. Either way, a single Kunefe is worth 3,480 coins and you'll earn 122 XP for creating one.
The second recipe is the Pistachio Turkish Delight. This recipe requires two Lemon Water and seven Pistachios to create. Each Lemon Water requires two Lemons and one Water, while, again, the Pistachios are earned by the Pistachio Tree. A single Pistachio Turkish Delight goes for 2,460 coins, and you'll receive 65 XP for each one you create.
Finally, the Turkish Tea recipe requires three Sugar and 12 Black Leaf Tea to create. The Sugar is earned by sending out individual requests to your friends for this ingredient, while the Black Leaf Tea is planted on your farm for 40 coins per square. This crop takes four hours to grow and you'll receive three XP for each batch that you grow. Each batch of Turkish Tea sells for 2,000 coins, and you'll receive 11 XP for each one you create.
These three recipes will be available for the next 27 days, while the Pistachio Trees and Black Leaf Tea will be available for just 20 days in the store. If you're interested in creating any of these three recipes, make sure to purchase their ingredients sooner, rather than later.

FarmVille 2 ‘By Any Other Name’ Quests: Everything You Need to Know

As the Florist Table event continues to expand in FarmVille 2, we've seen the launch of a new series of eight quests called "By Any Other Name." These eight quests will be available for the next two weeks, and we're here with a guide to help get you started on completing them.
Late Bloomer
• Place Florist Table
• Perform 5 Actions on Walter's Farm
• Harvest 10 Blueberries
The Florist Table base just needs to be placed on your farm to finish this task—it doesn't need to actually be built. As for the Blueberries, these take just two minutes to grow. When you complete this first quest, you'll receive 20 XP and 400 coins.
Say It with Flowers
• Collect 5 Flower Snips
• Harvest 10 Black Pansies
• Make 2 Black Pansy Bouquets
Apparently, Walter likes Barbara, and he needs your help in expressing himself to her through flowers. The Flower Snips are earned by posting a general request to your news feed, while the Black Pansies take just two hours to grow. Finally, the Black Pansy Bouquets are created using five Flasks and eight Black Pansies each. The Flasks themselves are earned by asking your friends to send them to you. When you finish this second quest, you'll receive another 20 XP and 400 coins.
FarmVille 2 'By Any Other Name' Quests: Everything You Need to Know
Orange You Helping?
• Harvest Orange Trees 3 Times
• Harvest 3 Adult Goats
• Make 2 Orange Cupcakes
The Adult Goats are fed every 15 minutes with four Animal Feed per serving. Remember that Adult Goats are very different than "Prized" Goats, so purchase new Goats if you don't have any Adults on your farm. As for the Orange Trees, these require three Water to grow, and they're ready to harvest after eight hours per tree. Finally, the Orange Cupcakes are created using one Batter and one Orange Icing each. The Orange Icing is another crafting recipe, as it must be prepared using three Oranges and one Butter. After you complete this quest, you'll receive 400 coins and 20 XP.
Sweet Attraction
• Collect 5 Flower Baskets
• Harvest 3 Lemon Trees
• Make 4 Lemonade
The Flower Baskets are earned by posting another general news item on your wall, asking all friends to help at once. As for the Lemon Trees, they each require three Water to grow, and they're ready to harvest after 12 hours. Finally the Lemonade is created by combining one Lemon Water with four Lemons. The Lemon Water itself is created using one Water and two Lemons, so make sure you have plenty of water on hand to spare before starting these crafting projects.
We'll update this space as we learn more about this series' other four quests, so stay tuned!

What good is a theme park without new themes of items to fill it? Fortunately, it looks like we won't have to find out, as a brand new theme has joined the medieval, fantasy, and western themes in CoasterVille. While many of the items in the Jungle theme also require at least 2,500 Popularity points to unlock in the store, others are locked behind quests, which is essentially the same thing.
