FarmVille Shopping Personality Store: Everything you need to know

In FarmVille's long line of "this or that" features, we've seen players asking their friends a slew of questions revolving around their perfect pets, fashion sense or job ideas and now, yet another pair of buildings is available via the "Shopping Personality" feature. This feature sees players placing their very own "Personal Store" and completing a series of 12 stages to earn up to 24 prizes along the way. We're here with a complete guide to each stage and its prizes, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

The base of the Personal Store can be placed for free, and from there, you'll need to ask your friends to vote for one of two options for each stage, with each vote counting towards a prize. The first side (left or right) that reserves four votes corresponds to the prize that you'll win for that stage, and also helps change the final appearance of the building after all 12 stages. Here's a rundown of the prizes for each level of this event.

Stage 1: Independent Gnome or Diva Gnome

Stage 2: Free Shipping Bear or Shopping Bear

Stage 3: In and Out Hog or All Day Owl

Stage 4: On Sale Tree or New Arrival Tree

Stage 5: Use It Seal or Collector Seal

Stage 6: Mall Rat or Local Boutique

Stage 7: Classic Duck or Brand Name Duck

Stage 8: Coupon Tree or Gift Card Tree

Stage 9: Browsing Monkey or Shopper Tiger

Stage 10: Bulk Order Ostrich or Single Order Ostrich

Stage 11: Hanger Tree or Gadget Tree

Stage 12: Vintage Horse or Modern Horse

As usual, you can eliminate all "chance" from this event and receive just the items you wish to have by asking your friends to vote for a specific item when you post those requests on your wall. Hopefully, your friends are considerate enough to honor your wishes, but if not, you can complete this event a second time to earn the prizes that you didn't win the first time around. Good luck receiving them all!

FarmVille Cheery Realty: Everything you need to know

It seems to have become a tradition in FarmVille that new holidays or events bring with them a chance for players to build their very own "dream" buildings that fit in with those themes. We saw it with the Dream Haunted House during Halloween, and now we're seeing it again with the Cheery Realty building project for Christmas.

The Cheery Realty building is a decoration in and of itself on your farm, and within it, you'll be able to customize your perfect "home for the holidays" using one of three basic blueprints and then customizing it with all sorts of accessories. The only base model you'll have to start is the "Cheery Cottage," but you'll eventually unlock a Gingerbread House and Cheery Mansion if you finish the ones that came before.

Once you start the Cheery Cottage, each individual item you add to the home, from Christmas lights to snow on the roof, will add o the amount of building materials you'll need to actually finish it off. Even the base Cheery Cottage requires parts. You'll start with a requirement of seven Pinewood, 10 Snow and eight Decorators, and the required parts can only go up from there. Let's say you wanted to add Lights to the home's roof, along with snow piles on the roof and near the porch. Suddenly, you'd be required to earn five more Snow units along with 11 light units to create that new look.

Again, once you finish the Cheery Cottage, you'll unlock the Gingerbread House blueprint, and can complete the cycle all over again with different materials the decorations. Good luck completing one of all three designs before Christmas!

FarmVille Toys for Tots Campaign: Everything you need to know

As part of Zynga's Christmas campaign with Toys for Tots, FarmVille farmers can now send their friends a Cheer Ewe Up Horse in order to receive a free tree for themselves in exchange. That's right, the Toys for Tots promotion is yet another in the long line of "give one, get one" features in FarmVille, and we're here with a quick rundown of how you can participate and donate to needy children.

Each Cheer Ewe Up Horse (a Ewe riding on the back of a Horse) costs $1 US, and you can send up to six at a time to your most helpful neighbors. Each time you open the promotion's window, a new set of six friends will be available to choose from, so feel free to keep refreshing the window until you find the friend(s) you want. If you send at least one Cheer Ewe Up Horse, you'll receive a free Holiday Teddy tree for your own farm.

As usual, a great way to deal with this event is to partner with a friend and exchange the Horses amongst yourself. In that way, you'll each receive a Horse and a Tree for the low, low price of $1. Of course, since this "Oh What Fun" promotion sees 100% of the purchase price being donated to Toys for Tots, you're free to purchase as many horses as you want to help those in need. This promotion won't be available forever though, so make sure to purchase as many horses as you want for friends while you still can.

FarmVille 2 Great Britain Crafting Recipes: Everything you need to know

Just as every new theme in FarmVille 2 comes with a series of new crafting recipes, so too has the Great Britain theme been accompanied by a trio of recipes that are available to craft within the Crafting Kitchen for a limited time. These recipes will be available for 27 days, giving you an extra week on top of the time that the themed trees and crops will be in the store themselves, and we're here with a look at these three recipes to let you know if they're worth it. Let's get started!

The first recipe is Elderberry Tea, which can be created using 12 Elderberries and three Lemon Waters. The Elderberries come from the Elderberry Tree, which is available to purchase in the store for 12 Farm Bucks. Unfortunately, if you choose not to purchase the Elderberry Tree, you'll need to hope that at least one of your neighbors did so that you can attempt to earn some of these berries for free when tending the tree on their farm(s). As for the Lemon Water, this is a valuable item in and of itself, as it requires Water to craft, which could otherwise be used to plant more crops or water more trees. A single Lemon Water sells for 150 coins, but that still doesn't detract much from the Elderberry Tea's sell price of 2,560 coins. It's all a matter of whether or not the Elderberry Tree is worth the investment to you in the long run.

Moving on, the second limited edition recipe in this theme is the Bottle of Rose Jelly, which can be crafted using the English Rose crop that is available to plant for coins from the game's store. You'll need eight English Roses along with three Sugar to complete a single batch of the Rose Jelly, with Sugar being earned by sending out direct request to neighbors. This makes the Sugar ultimately "worthless" on its own, while an English Rose is only worth 59 coins each. The final Bottle of Rose Jelly can sell for 1,510 coins, definitely making this recipe worth the investment, if you have a lot of friends that are willing to give you Sugar on a regular basis.

Finally, Petit Fours can be created using ingredients we've already seen released in the game prior to this. A single batch requires three Berry Custards and three Batters to craft, with each requiring multiple steps to prepare. The Berry Custard, for instance, requires three Blueberries and one Custard to craft. A custard requires Milk and Eggs, and when you finally make a Berry Custard, it's worth 330 coins on its own.

As for the Batter, this is worth 290 coins each, and it requires Eggs and Flour (yet another crafting recipe) to create. By the time you make the Petit Fours, you'll be investing items worth 1,860 coins, making the overall payout of 2,720 coins for each Petit Four far less impressive than it could be. Feel free to skip creating this recipe altogether if you'd rather invest those Custards and Batters into something else.

Again, these recipes will only be available to create for a limited time, so make sure to use up your Elderberries and English Roses before they expire and earn as much money as you can in the process.

FarmVille Mistletoe Lane Caption Contest: Everything you need to know

If you think you've got what it takes to create a clever caption for an image of FarmVille's Mistletoe Lane, you could be rewarded for your creativity with limited edition items, hundreds of Farm Cash, and even your very own copy of Zynga's Hungry Hungry Herd board game.

To celebrate the holiday season, Zynga is holding a "Mistletoe Lane Caption Contest" on the official FarmVille forums. From now until December 4, interested players must create a caption for the image at the side of this post, and then share that caption with the FarmVille team over on the game's forums. At the end of the submission period, 15 winners will be selected to receive massive prize packages. This isn't like most forum contests, where only two or three people walk away a winner, as each of the 15 winners will receive the following:

  • One Limited Edition Item of His or Her Choice
  • 1 million coins
  • 200 Farm Cash
  • Hungry Hungry Herd Game

The rules for the contest as simple, as players simply need to be creative while also being family-friendly. Captions are limited to two sentences in total, and we wish you the best of luck if you decide to enter this contest for yourself!

FarmVille fishes for new features with upcoming Angler's Pond [Report]

FarmVille Anglers Pond
There's no doubt that the most iconic Facebook game of all time is slowly growing stale, already far outclassed by its successor. But Zynga keeps on trying to please FarmVille's hardcore fans with more things to do and more features to experience. Next in line to hopefully spur players interest is the Angler's Pond
FarmVille Fishing Lodge
While it looks terribly early, with copy and art still not complete, the Angler's Pond seems to allow players to, well, go fishing with a Wendy-looking character. It seems that players will fish for various finned aquatic creatures to complete collections. You'll soon have access to a Fishing Lodge that will track which fish you've caught and which are still waiting to be reeled in.

FarmVille Bait Shop
Finally, players will also have access to various types of bait that will more than likely attract certain kinds of fish. Unfortunately, that's all the details we have now, as these three screens are all that FarmVille Freak has found. Sure enough, we'll hear more about Angler's Pond as we inch closer to the end of the year. But will it grab us hook, line and sinker? We're here all week.

FarmVille Mistletoe Lane Shipping Licenses: Everything you need to know

Now that Mistletoe Lane is available for free to all players in FarmVille, it was only a matter of time before shipping licenses were released, allowing players to transfer items to and from this new farm. Whether it's the transfer of items from Winter Wonderland to Mistletoe Lane, or even from Mistletoe Lane back to your Home Farm (as examples), these Storage Transfer Licenses are incredibly convenient, but also equally expensive.

The Mistletoe Lane Shipping License can be purchased for a whopping 250 Farm Cash. If you buy Farm Cash at its normal price, that works out to be around $43 US, which is an incredibly expensive price for something that will, in theory, eventually be given away for free. If this Shipping License works like those from previous farms, we'll eventually be given the opportunity to "beat" Mistletoe Lane by completing tasks like all of the Holiday Square upgrades or the Holiday Animal Workshop, and will receive a shipping license for free after doing so.

Still, if you're anxious to bring your existing Christmas / Winter objects from other farms to Mistletoe Lane, and you have plenty of change to spare, you can now purchase one of these licenses right now.

FarmVille Thanksgiving Goals: Everything you need to know

While Thanksgiving may officially already be over, our friends in FarmVille are just getting around to celebrating via a set of nine new Thanksgiving goals on our farms. These goals will be available for the next two weeks, and if you happen to complete them with time remaining, you can start them all over again for extra rewards until they do eventually expire. We're here with a complete look at these goals, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Illumination
  • Get 6 Lanterns
  • Harvest 50 Pumpkins
  • Harvest Livestock Pen 2 Times

For this "Lanterns" task and any other tasks that asks you to collect a specific number of materials, you'll need to ask your friends to send these items to you via a general news post placed on your wall. While you're waiting for those to arrive, you can plant some Pumpkins that take eight hours to grow. Finally, the Livestock Pens can be on any farm, so if you happen to only have one on a single farm, you can just travel to another farm and tend one there as well. You'll receive 125 XP, a Fall Pig and 2,500 coins for completing this first goal.

Fires of Home
  • Get 7 Fire Pit Stones
  • Harvest 75 Tomatoes
  • Harvest Fall Pig 2 Times

The second you receive the Fall Pig above, you'll want to place it in an animal storage building like the Livestock Pen so that it can become ready quicker than if you left it out "alone." What's more, you can easily harvest the pig two times in the same day if you move it between buildings before collecting from each one. As for the Tomatoes, they take another eight hours to grow, so feel free to plant these at the same time that you plant the Pumpkins. That way, the Tomatoes will be ready and waiting for you immediately when you start this goal, saving you time in the long run. You'll receive 150 XP, an Unwither Potion and 3,000 coins when you finish this goal.

To Serve Farmers
  • Get 8 Cookbooks
  • Harvest 100 Rice
  • Harvest Fall Pig 2 Times

The Rice takes 12 hours to grow, so if you keep its wither schedule in mind, you can plant it along with the Pumpkins and Tomatoes above to have an easier time of things. Either way, you'll need to keep moving the Fall Pig around to your various buildings (even across farms where you have storage transfer licenses) in order to harvest it four full times in total. Completing this goal gives you 175 XP, a Tofurkey (tofu turkey), and 3,500 coins.

Mash It
  • Get 9 Potato Mashers
  • Harvest 125 Squash
  • Harvest Tofurkey 2 Times

Similar to the Fall Pig above, you'll want to place the Tofurkey in an animal storage building as soon as you receive it. That way, you won't have to wait days for the turkey to become ready twice on its own. Meanwhile, Squash takes a full two days to grow, so this would be the perfect time to use an Instant Grow if you have one around. When you complete this goal, you'll receive 200 XP, a Turbo Charge and 4,000 coins.

A Little Corny
  • Get 9 Corn Basket
  • Harvest 150 Wheat
  • Harvest Tofurkey 2 Times

You know the drill by now: just keep the Tofurkey in those animal storage buildings and you'll be able to harvest it much more often than you would be able to otherwise. Just don't forget to plant the Wheat at some point, as it takes 12 hours to grow. Completing this goal gives you 225 XP, an Undercover Turkey and 4,500 coins.

Not Crumby
  • Get 9 Bags of Breadcrumbs
  • Harvest 150 Carrots
  • Harvest Undercover Turkey 2 Times

Carrots take another 12 hours to grow, so feel free to plant them along with the Wheat above so that they're both done at once. Meanwhile, the Undercover Turkey follows the same formula as the Fall Pig and Tofurkey above, so make sure you place it on a farm that you can either transfer items to and from, or one that has more than one building that you can harvest each day with the Turkey inside. After you complete this goal, you'll receive 250 XP, a Fall Oak Tree and 5,000 coins.

In the Same Boat
  • Get 10 Gravy Boats
  • Harvest 150 Cabbage
  • Harvest Undercover Turkey 2 Times

Cabbage takes two full days to grow, so it's worth planting this crop ahead of time, hopefully saving you from waiting a full two days once you reach this goal on your farm. Even if you only save yourself a single day, or just a few hours, it's still better than being forced to wait two full days when the clock is forever ticking down. Completing this goal gives you 275 XP, a Mystery Game Dart and 5,500 coins.

Baking to Win
  • Get 11 Fresh Bread
  • Harvest 150 Spinach
  • Harvest an Aviary 2 Times

Again, you can complete these goals across your farms, so if you don't have more than one Aviary on the same farm, or you've already harvested all of the Aviaries on a single farm, you can always travel to others and tend Aviaries there. Meanwhile, the Spinach can be growing in the background on one farm, as it takes 14 hours to grow. After you finish this goal, you'll receive 300 XP, a Cider Duck item and 6,000 coins.

Dinner Time!
  • Get 12 Table Cloths
  • Harvest 200 Eggplant
  • Harvest Horse Paddock 2 Times

As with the Aviary task above, don't feel pressured into buying and building another Horse Paddock if you don't have two on a single farm. Instead, travel around to different farms and complete the task with ease that way. As for the Eggplant, this is another crop that should be planted even before you reach this goal, as it takes a full two days to grow. Completing this final goal in the series gives you 325 XP, a Turkey Horse and 6,500 coins. Good luck completing them all!

ChefVille 'Ranch Requests' Quests: Everything you need to know

While it's fun to cook on ChefVille's many appliances, especially now that we have a Mayonnaise Dispenser for sandwiches and a Cranberry Crate for Thanksgiving dishes, there's still a noteworthy lack of a ranch dispenser in our restaurants. Tons of dishes require Ranch Dressing, and yet it's one of the most ingredient heavy items to craft, requiring Onions, Milk and Garlic. That all changes today though, with the launch of the Ranch Rack and its accompanying "Ranch Requests" quests in our restaurant. We're here with a look at how to complete these quests, so let's get started!

Rack 'n Dip
  • Place and Build the Ranch Rack
  • Tend Ranch Rack 7 Times
  • Complete the Dip Station

The Dip Station was released last week, and you can find our complete guide to building it right here. As for the Ranch Rack, you'll first need to spend three energy to unwrap the item, and must then collect five Saucy Saucers and five Dipping Skewers to finish it off. The Saucy Saucers are earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbors, while the Dipping Skewers can be earned by posting a general request to your news feed. Remember to jump onto Zynga.com before posting these sorts of requests, as you can rely on strangers as well as friends and can earn these items quicker as a result.

After you've finished the Ranch Rack, you can collect from it once every 12 minutes. When you finish this first quest, you'll receive 15 coins, two Marinated Chickens and 10 XP.

Saucy Finger Food
  • Tend Neighbors' Mom 'N Pop Shops 5 Times
  • Cook Chicken Tenders 12 Times
  • Ask friends for 7 Squeeze Bottles

The Squeeze Bottles can be earned by posting a general request to your news feed for help. Meanwhile, the Chicken Tenders are made on the Dip Station using three Flour, two Chicken and three Ranch Dressing each. At least by this point you have the Ranch Rack to earn Ranch Dressing for free, so you won't have to waste as many Onions as you would have normally to cook all 12. Plus, cooking the dish that many times earns you mastery stars along the way as well, which is always nice. There's one more quest to complete in this series, and we'll bring you a complete look at how to complete it as we learn more. Stay tuned!

FarmVille: Stock up on Christmas Cheer with a Double Cheer Statue

One of the biggest incentives players have to level up in FarmVille's Mistletoe Lane is the fact that so many items in this new Christmas farm are locked to a certain Cheer Level. Without leveling high enough, some crops are never available to plant, and some decorations can never be used to add that Christmas flair to our farms, but with the Double Cheer Statue, reaching those items becomes much easier to do.

The Double Cheer Statue can be purchased for yourself or sent as a gift to a neighbor for 225 Farm Cash. That's around $40 US, but if you decide to splurge on yourself or a friend, you can place this Statue on your Mistletoe Lane farm and will receive double the Cheer Points (Mistletoe Lane's experience points) on all tasks that grant them.

Unfortunately, these Double Cheer Statues can't stack with others, so only one Statue can be used on your farm. However, there's no limit for how long your can earn Double Cheer Points, so as long as this Statue is out on your farm, you'll earn your boost in productivity. In addition, if there are ever game-wide events of Double Cheer for all players, it's likely that this wouldn't stack either, since regular Double Mastery Statues don't stack in those cases.

If you're interested in purchasing the Double Cheer Statue, you can find it in the store by either searching for it outright, or looking under the "Farm Aides" section. Good luck unlocking all of the items in the store with or without this Statue!

FarmVille 2 Feast Table: Everything You Need To Know

While FarmVille 2 players are already encouraged to purchase a variety of Thanksgiving themed items in the game’s store, along with helping a poor little turkey to call your farm home, there’s also a need to plan a large Thanksgiving Dinner. The Feast Table is now available to place on your farm, and six new quests have been released along with it. We’re here with a guide to this Feast Table event in FarmVille 2, thanks to Zynga.
Table for Four!
• Place the Feast Table
• Complete 15 Tasks on neighbours Farms
• Make 35 Animal Feed
You should have plenty of items, like Olives, that will make great Animal Feed, since they’re so readily available from trees and you don’t have to worry about running out. As for the Feast Table, you’re just placing the base here, and will need to be “built” before you can use it. It requires eight Tablecloths, eight Sets of Plates and eight Wood Planks to complete, all available via friend requests. After that, you’ll need to hire four friends to finish the construction process by sending out even more requests to friends. For completing this first quest, you’ll receive 35 XP and 700 coins.
Now that you’ve completed the Feast Table, you can start actually gathering friends for the Feast and crafting food for your friends to eat (virtually, of course). You’ll be able to look at a “Menu” to see the items you need to craft, and will need to create four Tomato Soup, five Strawberry Lemonade and two Apple Scones to finish not only one Feast, but five. Here’s a quick look at each of those crafting recipes.
Tomato Soup = 1 Tomato Paste + 1 Broth
Strawberry Lemonade = 5 Strawberries + 1 Lemonade
Apple Scone = 6 Apples + 1 Batter
Once that’s done, your work still isn’t over, as you’ll need to invite guests over to eat your food. The Feast Table requires four friends before you can begin a Feast, so you’ll need to either pay Farm Bucks to fill these seats instantly or send out requests for your friends to help you out. You can hold up to five Feasts throughout this Thanksgiving event, and you can earn a variety of prizes each time one is finished. The more Feasts you hold (again, up to five), the better the prizes, with items like Water, Energy, Unwithers, Pumpkin Pies, Red Eggs, Insta-Grow Boosts and other finished crafting recipes available at random.
While the Feast Tables are marked as a limited time event, this timer only relates to how long you’ll be able to place a Feast Table base on your farm, and not to how long you can spend actually filling each Table and holding each Feast. Still, we wish you the best of luck in completing these Feasts in time for Thanksgiving.

FarmVille 2 Ready for Winter Crafting Recipes: Everything you need to know

A set of "Ready for Winter" crops and trees was released in FarmVille 2 this week, and Zynga is encouraging players to purchase those items by releasing a series of matching recipes in the Crafting Kitchen that will allow dedicated farmers to earn some coins back on their original investment. We're here with a look at the these three new recipes, which will all be available to craft for the next 26 days. After that point, any extra ingredients you have can be sold or saved for potential use later. Let's get started!

The first recipe is Tangerine Jelly, and as the name suggests, its primary ingredient is the Tangerine. Tangerine Trees are available to purchase for 12 Farm Bucks each, technically making this a premium crafting recipe. If you have friends that have purchased these trees for their own farms, you can also try your luck at earning some free Tangerines when visiting them, although you're never guaranteed to earn enough to actually craft some Jelly back on your own farm.

The Tangerine Jelly requires seven Tangerines and three Sugar cubes, which are available by asking your friends to send them to you. Since this Sugar has no real value, the selling price of 1,690 coins for each Tangerine Jelly comes straight from the Tangerines, making this a worthwhile recipe if you've already planned on purchasing a Tangerine Tree anyway.

The second recipe comes in the form of a jar of Apple Sauce, and it's available to craft using Fireside Apples and three Flour. The Fireside Apples come from the Fireside Apple Tree, which is available to purchase in the General Store and can be harvested once every 12 hours. Flour itself is a crafting project made with four Wheat, and a single Flour can sell for 90 coins. That makes this portion of the recipe worth 270 coins, while the overall Apple Sauce recipe can sell for 2,910 coins.

The final recipe is one that all farmers can create as much as they'd like, since it requires a crop that's available to grow for coins (that is, for free). That recipe is Pickled Cauliflower, which requires two Bottles of Salt and 12 heads of Cauliflower to create. The Salt is like the Sugar ingredient above in that it can only be earned through Farm Bucks or by asking friends to send some to you. As for the Cauliflower, this limited edition crop is available to plant for the next 19 days, and it takes six hours to grow. A single jar of this Pickled Cauliflower can sell for 1,290 coins.

Again, these recipes will only be available for a limited time, so make sure to use any of these Ready for Winter ingredients before the recipes expire and the ingredients lose their value.

FarmVille Wishing Fountain: Everything you need to know

A brand new building project is available in FarmVille, bringing wishes and crafting back to the farm. The Wishing Fountain can be placed for free, with this upgradeable project allowing players to "wish" in fountain for coins after it's built. We're here with a guide to this Wishing Fountain, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Once you place the base, you'll need to collect two Drill Bits, one Copper Tube, and one piece of Cut Bamboo to finish its first stage. However, this isn't as simple a process as just asking your friends to send you these ingredients outright, as you'll instead need to craft them. All of these items are available to craft in the Craftshop, which means that if you're trying to build a Wishing Fountain on a farm that doesn't already have a Craftshop, you'll need to place one of those as well (don't worry, extras are free). Here's a breakdown of the ingredients for each of these three building materials.

Drill Bit
  • 3 Raspberry Bushels
  • 2 Pumpkin Bushels
  • 1 Apple Wood Basket

Copper Tube
  • 3 Wheat Bushels
  • 3 Spinach Bushels
  • 1 Milk Jug

Cut Bamboo
  • 3 Peanut Bushels
  • 4 Cotton Bushels
  • 1 Lemon Basket

Of course, you can rely on your friends for these items in a way, as you can always use their Bushels, gathered daily, to actually craft them. Hopefully though, you already have enough of these items on hand to make it through at least the first Wishing Fountain level.

There are up to 50 different stages available for this Wishing Fountain (yes, that's fifty), but after Stage 7, the Fountain stops changing in appearance. Each stage requires more and more of each item to complete, and adds 2,000 to the amount of coins, Coconuts, or Jade Coins you will be able to harvest from the fountain each day. The very first stage results in 4,000 coins / Coconuts / Jade Coins, and it only increases from there. Needless to say, if you can make it all of the way through to Level 50 of this Wishing Fountain, you'll have a major source of income across your farms. Good luck!

FarmVille 2 The Little Rebel Turkey: Everything you need to know

A free-spirited wild turkey has shown up on your farm in FarmVille 2, and it's up to you to make this little fellow a permanent fixture on your farm, just in time for Thanksgiving. In the Little Rebel Turkey event now rolling out to players now, you'll complete a series of tasks to convince the Rebel Turkey to stay in much the same way as you earned the Witch Bunny back in the game's Halloween event. We're here with a look at this Little Rebel Turkey event, thanks to Zynga.
Little Rebel Turkey
  • Ask for 5 Cake Boxes
  • Harvest 70 Strawberries
  • Craft 5 Powdered Sugar

You'll need to earn the Cake Boxes by sending out requests to your neighbors, and can also rely on friends' help to craft the Powdered Sugar. A single batch of Powdered Sugar requires three Sugar and two Flour to create. The Sugar itself can be earned either by purchasing it with Farm Bucks, or by sending out requests for your friends to give you some. As for the Strawberries, that particular crop takes a full day to grow, so this task will be a test of your patience, rather than your Water.

If you can complete all of the tasks within this Little Rebel Turkey quest, you'll receive the Little Wild Turkey as a permanent animal that can be placed on your farm. You'll only have 11 days to finish this quest, and if you ever need to get back into the quest window after you close it (say, to send out more requests for Cake Boxes), you can do so by clicking on the little turkey as it wanders around your farm. Good luck earning the Turkey for yourself!

FarmVille Orchard Tree Challenges: Everything you need to know

Since many FarmVille players have massive collections of Trees, it makes sense that we'd see Zynga releasing new content on our farms dealing with trees, to give us something extra to work on while waiting for all of our Trees and Orchards to become ready for harvest once every two days. A new Orchard Tree Challenge feature will see players being challenged through six stages of light goals, with trees and building materials being available as prizes along the way. We're here with a guide to completing these Orchard Tree Challenges, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Stage 1
  • Harvest an Orchard
  • Plant a Seedling
  • Grow a Seedling

In order to access these Challenges, you'll be able to click on any Orchard that's currently growing and select the "Challenge Progress" button from the drop down menu that appears. For this first stage, you'll simply need to harvest a ready Orchard and plant and grow a single Mystery Seedling using Watering Cans. If you have a Seedling in your Mystery Seedling Nursery, you can grow it in there and it will count for this Stage as well. Completing this first incredibly easy goal will give you 125 XP, an Apple Tree and 2,500 coins.

Stage 2
  • Harvest an Orchard Twice
  • Plant 4 Seedlings
  • Grow 3 Seedlings
You don't need to harvest the same Orchard twice to complete this first task, as these Challenges are available to complete across your entire supply of Orchards on every farm. Additionally, if you don't have the Watering Cans necessary to grow three Seedlings when you first start this second stage, remember to collect from items like Water Wheels to earn more. Completing this second task gives you 150 XP, a Moreton Bay Fig Tree and 3,000 coins.

Stage 3
  • Harvest Moreton Bay Fig Tree Twice
  • Craft 2 Bricks
  • Buy 10 New Trees

The Moreton Bay Fig Tree can be placed in any ready Orchard and immediately harvested, so if you're used to "forcing" trees to master via this technique, simply add it to your equation for a couple of harvests to finish this task fast. As for the Bricks, they can be crafted in the Craftshop using one Rice and two Rhubarb Bushels, along with one Manure Bag. Finally, some of the cheapest trees are items like Apple Trees, which cost just 325 coins each. If you're interested in finishing this goal cheaply, those are the ones you'll want to stock up on. Completing this third goal gives you 175 XP, five Nails and 3,500 coins.

Stage 4
  • Build an Orchard Frame
  • Harvest 6 Orchards
  • Craft 2 Boards

An Orchard Frame costs 1,000 coins to purchase in the store, and it can be built using ten each of Bricks, Wooden Boards and Nails. The Boards themselves can be earned via Special Delivery Crates, or they can be crafted in the Craftshop using one Cotton and one Peanut Bushel, along with one Apple Wood Basket. Obviously, you'll need to craft some to complete this goal, but feel free to use any Boards in your inventory just to finish the Orchard's construction fast. Again, remember that you can travel between your many farms to complete these Challenges, so if you don't have six Orchards that are ready to harvest on your Home Farm (for instance), travel to another farm that does and complete this particular task in a flash. You'll receive 200 XP, a Araguaney Tree and 4,000 coins for completing this goal.

Stage 5
  • Harvest Araguaney Tree Twice
  • Craft 4 Watering Cans
  • Grow 10 Seedlings

While these goals still haven't become overly difficult, they have become more time consuming with the crafting requirements. In this case, a Watering Can is created in the Craftshop using two Lilac and two Peanut Bushels, plus one Maple Syrup Basket. That's the requirements for a single Watering Can, mind you, so you'll need to do that three more times to have four in all. Completing this goal gives you 225 XP, a Dragon Fruit Tree and 4,500 coins.

Stage 6
  • Harvest Dragon Fruit Tree Twice
  • Build a Grove Frame
  • Harvest 10 Orchards

The Grove Frame can be purchased in the store for just 5 coins. It requires 10 each of Mulch Soil, Mini Boulders and Turf Rolls to build, but doesn't actually need to be filled or harvested to complete this last goal. Completing this final goal gives you 250 XP, a Goldenrain Tree and 5,000 coins. Remember, you won't see these tasks listed along the left side of the screen with your other goals, so you'll need to keep clicking on one of your Orchards to actually keep track of your progress. It's also possible that more of these Orchard Challenges could be released in the future, and if that's the case, we'll make sure to let you know.

FarmVille Farm Clubs: Everything you need to know

A new cooperative farming feature has come to FarmVille, allowing players that work well with others to unlock exclusive crops for mastery by competing against other groups of like-minded players. The feature is called simply "Clubs," and it sees players creating and joining Clubs with the overall goal being to unlock as many of these exclusive crops as possible in the long run.

You'll be able to access the Clubs menu via the small symbol on the bottom left corner of the screen. There, you can either join an active club or create your own. Creating a club is a time-consuming process, as you'll need to collect 150 building materials to actually create one. Each part can be earned with friends' help or by purchasing them for 1 Farm Cash each. You'll need 50 Signatures, 50 Club Seeds and 50 Club Flags to create your own.

Whether you create your own Club or join an existing one, each week, that Club's members will be challenged to planting a single kind of crop as many times as they can throughout that week long period. For instance, they may be required to plant Happy Radishes or Pricklepears, depending on the week. If your Club ends up in the top half of the leaderboard consisting of all Clubs (that is, if your Club earns more harvest points than over half of the game's other Clubs), you'll receive a permanent license to plant that week's crop, and even master it in the future.

As Clubs gain in popularity, the Club's creator can assign special roles to some of the Club's most helpful neighbors. The leader itself will earn x150 points with his or her own harvests, while "Expert Farmers" will earn x80. You can tell which farmers have which roles based on badges that they have inside the Club's leaderboard menu.

It's likely that additional crops will be added to this Farm Clubs feature in the future, but for now, try to join a popular Club and start earning exclusive crops while they're still available! Good luck!

FarmVille Farmworkers: Everything you need to know

As more and more buildings are released in FarmVille, it takes players more time to actually harvest all of those ready buildings each time they play the game. In order the ease the burden on players, Zynga has released a new Farmworkers boost in the game's store that will allow you to harvest all ready buildings with a single action.

Unfortunately, there's no way to craft these Farmworkers (yet), and the only way to get one on your farm is to purchase one outright for 5 Farm Cash. Once you purchase one, it will go into your inventory where it can be used at any time. Upon use, your game might slow for a few seconds (similarly to how it slows when using a Farmhand or Arborist), but this is simply a product of it harvesting so many buildings at the same time.

A single Farmworker will harvest all animal buildings, including ones like the Pig Pen and Duck Pond, all Orchards and Groves, and most secondary buildings like Doghouses or Fishing Holes. Any buildings that produce items upon collection, like Animal Feed, Mystery Babies and the like, will give you a pop-up at the bottom of the screen (that will not disappear until you click on it or refresh your game), that tells you your particular prizes for the day. All prizes will then go into your gift box or into your coin totals, where applicable.

Upon testing this on our main farm, we've found that there are a few exceptions that ruin this "every" building promise. Buildings including the Harvest Hoedown, Water Wheel, Bumper Cars, Big Barnyard and Floating Waterfall (if it can truly be considered a building) aren't harvested with the use of a Farmworker, but we suspect Zynga might add them to the roundup after someone realizes that they were forgotten in the first place.

What's more, it's definitely worth pointing out that these Farmworkers completely ruin the tree farming tactic, as all Orchards are harvested at once, removing our ability to move trees from one Orchard to the next to earn bonus mastery points in a single day. This ability is still available, mind you, but you'll need to ignore that Farmworkers exist if you're a tree farmer.

We'll make sure to let you know if Farmworkers are eventually available for free or through crafting measures, so stay tuned!

FarmVille Mistletoe Lane Patisserie: Everything you need to know

As you start to make some progress in FarmVille's Mistletoe Lane, you'll quickly be required to start crafting items in the Patisserie, your themed crafting building on this new farm. This Patisserie looks like it should be connected to some sort of vehicle, but it sits stationary on your farm and can be upgraded as you would expect. You'll have just three recipes to choose from at the beginning, and will unlock more as you continue to craft items within it. Here's a look at the available recipes and their requirements.

Level 1

Benne Cake
  • 3 Honey Ginger Bushels
  • 2 Wax Bean Bushels
  • 1 Lavender Bushel

Holiday Pudding
  • 1 Winter Squash Bushel
  • 2 Cider Apple Bushels
  • 2 Coffee Bushels

Apple Cider
  • 2 Cider Apple Bushels
  • 1 Holiday Poinsettia Bushel
  • 2 Rye Bushels

Level 2

Hot Mint Chocolate
  • 2 Choco Mint Bushels
  • 2 Winter Grain Bushels
  • 2 Peppermint Bushels

Holiday Stew
  • 2 Potatornament Bushels
  • 2 Flint Corn Bushels
  • 2 Tomato Bushels

Holiday Cookies
  • 1 Winter Grain Bushel
  • 2 Cider Apple Bushels
  • 2 Sugar Can Bushels

You won't unlock the recipes in Level 2 of this Patisserie until you've leveled up your Level 1 recipes at least six times. This requires lots of repetitive cooking, but you'll need to cook recipes to complete goals, so you'll actually end up multitasking via the simple design of the building and the overall Mistletoe Lane farm. Still, it's definitely worth keeping an extra eye on this building to make sure you're always cooking something, or looking for your friends' bushels if you're not. Good luck unlocking the rest of the Patisserie recipes!

FarmVille Needle in a Haystack: Everything you need to know

If you're familiar with the "Shell Game," the classic game that sees an object being placed under a cup or shell, which challenges you to remember which shell the object is under, you'll instantly recognize the new "Needle in a Haystack" Carnival game that has recently launched in FarmVille. This game replaces the cups and shells with hay stacks, and asks you to keep your eye on a needle that's hidden in the center of one.

You'll be given a free play to test out the game, which works as you'd expect. When you're ready to be observant, you'll need to click the "Play Now" button to set the hay stacks in motion, and must then memorize the needle's location. If you're playing on a slower machine, or the game simply runs slowly for you, this could actually help out in this particular game, as it makes the hay bales move more slowly as a result. After the bales have stopped moving, it's all a matter of clicking on the stack that contains the needle. If you're right, you'll earn tickets, rather than an instant prize.

The incentive with this game is to collect as many tickets as you can either by playing the game when it's available for free, or by purchasing additional rounds with Farm Cash. As you collect tickets, you'll unlock one of six prizes in this early stage of the game, each of which requires an increasingly large amount of Tickets to earn.

1 Ticket - Flowery Haystack
2 Tickets - Fuel Refill
5 Tickets - Mystery Bloom
25 Tickets - Mystery Tree
75 Tickets - Mystery Horse
100 Tickets - Silver Pegacow (a cow with Pegasus wings)

It's also worth noting that the difficulty level will increase as you continue to play, making Tickets harder to earn. Still, if you have en eye for games such as these, there are definitely some neat prizes available to win in the long run. Hopefully though, earning enough Tickets to actually afford them won't be as hard as finding a literal needle in a haystack. Good luck!
